Thank you for contacting Bronco Wine Company (BWC) with your donation request. We are a family owned and operated business in the Stanislaus County for over 126 years, and take pride in supporting our local communities.
BWC wants to work with you and your nonprofit group to build a better community. We are proud to collaborate with the community through not only our business endeavors, but also through wine donations to support worthwhile charitable activities where we live, work and play. If you are interested in receiving a wine donation for your nonprofit, please review the donation guidelines and complete our wine donation request form in its entirety and all requests must be submitted a minimum of 6 weeks in advance of the event date to be considered. If approved, you will be notified via email and will be responsible for making arrangements for donation pick-up. We are not offering any cash sponsorships at this time.
Our company is focused on supporting organizations in California in the following counties: Stanislaus County, Sacramento County, San Joaquin County, Alameda County, Fresno County, Kern County, Napa County, and Sonoma County.
Opportunities for wine purchases are available through our BWC 1-for-1 Matching Purchase Program for qualifying non-profit organizations, plus all applicable local and state tax.
Donation requests are only accepted online.
Submitting a donation request does not guarantee a donation.
We request acknowledgement with signs where our wine is served or featured (bar, table, etc.) Please include, Wines generously provided by Bronco Wine Company in any printed or Web-based materials or visibility efforts associated with the event.
If relevant, might include: use of our logo, media coverage, printed invitations, program advertisement, display, or other means of acknowledgement.
BWC can only consider wine donations to nonprofit organizations with formal 501(c) 3 status. You will be required to provide a copy of your IRS designation letter if the donation is approved.
Our company is particularly interested in events that support education, agricultural development and diversity.
Due to the large number of requests BWC receives, generally we can only consider one donation per calendar year to eligible organizations.
In most cases, alcohol regulations will require that your organization secure a special event or temporary wine sales permit in order to accept a wine donation from a winery. Wine donations cannot be made until proof of this permit – where applicable – is provided to BWC.

Duplicate requests or requests submitted outside the below form / this online process will not be considered.
We review donation requests on a monthly basis – please allow sufficient time for your request to be evaluated, and consider the time it may take to secure the required alcohol license for your event, where applicable. Once approved a wine donation will normally take up to two weeks for delivery or pick up a specific licensed distributor location.
Due to legal restrictions imposed by federal and state laws, BWC cannot donate wine for “benefits” or “fundraisers” to restaurants, golf courses or other establishments which own their own permanent liquor license unless the establishments “surrender” their license for the area sanctioned for the event allowing the nonprofit to obtain the mandatory day-use alcohol permit in their own name.
