About Blanc de Bleu

Making Every Moment Magical

Blanc de Bleu, a sparkling wine, delivers pleasant yet elegant flavors with a subtle touch of blueberry, creating a unique California sparkling wine with a dry, crisp finish.

Sparkling Wine Master Bob Stashak explains, “Blanc de Bleu is created by using two ingredients to their fullest potential. We start with the base wine, which is the same fruit used in our high-end, methode champenoise programs.  A natural yeast fermentation then adds bubbles and imparts a pleasant pastry-like character. Next, we introduce a small amount of blueberry flavor that leaves a lovely element of surprise and refreshment. The processing of these elements at their peak help craft Blanc de Bleu’s unique flavor and palate-pleasing complexity. This method is why people are pleasantly surprised to find the wine dry and crisp, instead of another overly sweet, flavored wine.”

Blanc de Bleu offers seductive flavors and fresh aromatic effervescence—vividly pasteled with blueberries and packaged in an impressively beautiful bottle. The grapes for Blanc de Bleu are grown in select vineyards, known for their cool and clear breezes—ideal conditions for the exclusive grapes and soils that accentuate the profoundly flavorful characteristics. We invite you to experience all the beauty and elegance Blanc de Bleu has to offer, as we know it will become a must for all the moments you hold close.

Emily DuBoce

Winemaker

Emily DuBoce never envisioned in her youth that one day she would call herself a winemaker. A northern California native, Emily graduated from California State University Stanislaus where she studied Biology. In her early twenties, she made a life-changing decision to take a chance on a new adventure and enrolled in the winemaking certificate program at University of California, Davis.

Fresh out of college, Emily began working in the analytical lab at Bronco Wine Co. After being in the lab for a little over a year, Emily’s unquestionable talent was recognized, and she was quickly promoted to Assistant Winemaker. In less than a year, she took on the role of Champagne winemaker under the direction of award-winning winemaker Bob Stashak. Since then, she has been promoted to Winemaker and has spent the last 15 years honing her craft. Emily believes there is a wine for everyone. Just as consumers are not alike, wine echos this sentiment which motivates Emily to put out the best blends she can for each wine she crafts.

Alan Sargisian

Assistant Winemaker

Born and raised in Turlock, California, Alan Sargisian stumbled into the field of winemaking. After graduating from the University of California, Merced with a degree in Chemistry, Alan landed an internship in the wine industry. It was there that his new passion was unlocked. His interest in fermentation science made him want to explore the industry further, so Alan moved abroad where he earned his master’s degree in Wine Management from Bordeaux, France.

Alan believes that great wines start in the vineyards. “Having the right soil types and proper treatment on the vines is crucial to a successful grape yield. Once the grapes are picked and brought in, it is now the one and only opportunity to produce the best California wine of this vintage. My approach is to ensure the absolute best stylistic quality and consistency for our customers to enjoy around the world.”

Alan considers every day an opportunity to get better. He loves his work that engages all the senses, involves science, art, and physical labor, and inspires camaraderie through teamwork. He hopes to provide the next generation of winemakers with the same guidance and direction that he has received from his Bronco Wine Co. team.
